The RCV members used their AGM earlier this week as an opportunity to thank the CSG and Victoria Police of Port Philip and Glen Eira Bayside service areas who worked tirelessly and were instrumental in providing increased support to keep the Jewish Community safe throughout the High Holiday Period.
RCV committee members and police chaplains Rabbi Shmuel Karnowsky and Rabbi Daniel Rabin spoke of the tremendous efforts of engagement that both the Police and CSG partake in with the Jewish Community throughout the year and expressed their ongoing gratitude on behalf of the RCV and the Rabbis’ congregants. The chaplains then presented each officer and CSG CEO, Ricky Pearl with a certificate of thanks and token gift.
The police representatives reciprocated, expressing their sentiments and stated that it was a privilege to serve our wonderful community.
Ricky Pearl said “CSG volunteers do not volunteer for the recognition, but this gesture certainly validates them for their hard work and selfless service. It is a privilege to help give our community the freedom to thrive”
