On Friday 24 November, nine leading Jewish organisations; Jewish Care, Jewish Community Council of Victoria, Tzedek, National Council of Jewish Women of Australia, Unchain My Heart, Maccabi, Progressive Judaism Victoria, Impact, and the Rabbinical Council of Victoria, came together to send a clear message that the Victorian Jewish community stands united in saying ‘No’ to family violence at the Annual Walk Against Family Violence.
An annual event, the Walk Against Family Violence began at Federation Square, and aimed to raise awareness of family violence and the impact it has on the community, and remember those who have lost their lives to family violence.
